There are two main problems I have with them. Firstly, they're straight up dad sunglasses, aesthetically speaking. I thought they looked passably cool in the photo but when I saw them in the flesh, they're pretty garish. Also, shotgun proof apparently doesn't mean scratch proof. My advice would be - if they're not on your face, put them in the cloth bag because when they get scratched they lose a little of their magic. ses, and you should see your view through the lenses change from clear to dark or vice versa as each lens polarises the light going through it. Theoretically, each lens should cut out all light going through it except for that in one plane. If both lenses do this, there will be one position where the polarised light getting through the first lens will itslf be prevented from going through the second l raybans ts down the glare when driving against bright sunlight on winter days. Good value for money.
I bought these as before I took a summer holiday involving a long drive. I found they reduced eye strain from the glare of sunshine and the glare of night lights from other traffic. They fit snugly over my prescription specs - perfect for the job!

There not an expensive pair of sunglasses they are large on my man face compared to other similar aviators I've worn in the past that will take a little getting used to but they are comfortable, light and a gre.
